We are learning to:

·         Plan, write and improve information reports

Success Criteria - We know we have achieved this when we can:

·         I can use a variety of graphic organisers to plan and group my ideas
·         Recall and write facts
·         Plan and write in sequence
·         Use tense correctly
·         Use conjunctions
·         Use correct  punctuation
·         Use technical vocabulary appropriate to the topic
·         Group ideas, in paragraphs, under headings

·         Conclude with a personal opinion about the topic

·         Improve my writing, by editing.

Reduce Reuse Recycle

There is too much rubbish in our land.

To get rid of that, we need to stop dumping rubbish by using  the three Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Reusing is using or giving away things such as clothing, jars and bottles. So don’t just throw things away. If you throw it away it goes to the land fill which is not good for the environment or our water. If we don’t reuse, our world will be a land fill.

Instead of using plastic bags, use your own material bag. Some people like to reduce because it is good for the environment. When you reduce it helps our world. So we don’t have as much landfill.

When you throw things away into the recycling bin they go to a special factory where they get made into new things such as clothing, bottles and jars. If you recycle things you will use them over and over again.

In conclusion we need to use the three R’s and stop people from dumping rubbish. In my opinion we need to stop dumping rubbish in the wrong places.

Recycle Reduce Reuse                                                                      

Recycle juice boxes otherwise the world will end. If you recycle it won’t get sent to the landfills. It will go and recycle again.

                                    Reduce

We could reuse our grocery and newspapers.

                                  Conclusion

We have got too much rubbish in our planet. We must reduce reuse and recycle.

Reduce Reuse Recycle

We have too much waste in the world. We should be recycling more. Everyone should be reducing, reusing and

recycling. It is healthy for the environment.

Recycle

Reusing is healthy because it gets sent to a factory and turned into another thing that can be recycled again.

You can recycle paper, cardboard, toys, plastic and metal.

Reuse

Reusing is when you reuse stuff you have already used before. For example if you have a piece of paper that has two clean sides -  If you have only used one side of it you should use the other side instead of getting                                                        another piece of paper. Use material bags that you can reuse again and again instead of plastic bags. When clothes don’t fit you you can give it to a small person instead of throwing them away to landfill.

Reduce

Reducing is when buy a big bag of popcorn and put it into plastic containers instead of buying a big bag of popcorn that has little bags of popcorn in it. Reducing is good for the environment.

Conclusion

I think people should reduce reuse recycle to help the environment.

Reduce Reuse and Recycle !!!

Our land has got too much rubbish. To help you could put the right rubbish in the right bins so that things can be recycled . We need to teach people to reduce reuse recycle.

Reuse is:

Reusing is using or giving away thing such as clothing and other materials. If you do not use the three RS our planet will smell and have too much rubbish in the ground. All the rubbish goes to the land fill which is bad for the ground and the water and it can kill the worms to reuse you could use a material bag instead of plastic bags

Reduce is:

People like to reduce so it is good for the environment when you go to the shop you can bring material bags instead of them giving you plastic bag. If you are having a bath or a shower do not be in it for too long, because you are  wasting the water or if you are brushing your teeth do not leave the water going .

Recycle is:

If you are recycling you use something more than once. Another thing to do is you can find out who to recycle things like materials such as glass batteries and mobile phones. If you are recycling do not just throw everything into the recycle bin -  go to a special factory to get remade.

Conclusion  :

I think that people should not just throw everything into the bin they should put it in the right bins because it will kill the animals and then we have no animals.
